This video/animation is based on video footage and inspiration from a trip to Iceland. Visiting the glaciers, and seeing how far they have retreated over the last decade, made me wonder if my son will be able to come back one day and show these slow flowing ice masses to his children. In this animation, the slow movement of icy objects overflowing with water could be regarded as a kind of "Glacier Requiem". However, the mesmerizing music by Saint-Saëns also allows one to simply enjoy the visuals.
